Barber Course (1,500 Hours)
Master’s Shave & Grooming Academy’s Barber Course is a comprehensive 1,500-hour program designed to prepare students for a successful career in the barbering industry. Students receive hands-on training and classroom instruction in haircutting, fading, shaving, beard grooming, hair design, sanitation, infection control, men’s grooming services, customer service, and business development.
Our curriculum combines traditional barbering techniques with modern trends, giving students the skills and confidence needed to excel in today’s competitive marketplace. Students gain real-world experience in a supervised clinic environment while learning professionalism, client retention, and shop management.

Crossover Barber Course
Curriculum Requirements - 500-Hour Barber Course for Licensed Cosmetologists and Licensed Cosmetology Teachers
The 500-hour barber course for licensed cosmetologists or licensed cosmetology teachers seeking licensure as a barber shall include a minimum of 500 clock hours of instruction and practical experience in subjects in the following categories
1) Basic Training - 90 Hours, including the Act and this Part and sanitary standards;
2) Shaving and Facial Hair Design - 50 Hours;
3) Haircutting and Styling - 300 Hours;
4) Chemical Texture Services - 30 Hours;
5) Barbershop Management - 30 Hours.
The school may provide online hours in theory, not to exceed 10%

Barber Instructor Program
Take your barbering career to the next level by becoming a licensed Barber Instructor. The Barber Instructor Program at Master’s Shave & Grooming Academy is designed for experienced barbers who desire to teach, mentor, and develop the next generation of professionals in the barbering industry.
Students will receive comprehensive training in instructional methods, lesson planning, classroom management, student evaluation, curriculum development, and effective communication techniques. The program also emphasizes leadership, professionalism, educational standards, and the practical skills necessary to supervise and train barber students in both classroom and clinical settings.
Through a combination of theory, demonstration, and hands-on teaching experience, instructor candidates will develop the confidence and expertise needed to lead successful barbering education programs and prepare students for state licensure and professional success.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to pursue licensure as a Barber Instructor and seek employment opportunities in barber schools, academies, vocational institutions, and continuing education programs.
